Ordering Ð԰ɵ¼º½ Transcripts & Parchments

Ð԰ɵ¼º½ has partnered with MyCredsâ„¢ to issue official transcripts, parchments and letters of completion in a secure digital format. 

The MyCredsâ„¢ platform is Canada’s digital document wallet for post-secondary institutions. Through MyCredsâ„¢, you will be able to access and share your academic documents with other post-secondary institutions, employers, government and other third-party recipients.  

How to Order Documents

Ordering Ð԰ɵ¼º½ Transcripts

A Ð԰ɵ¼º½ academic transcript is the official record of your academic history during your time at Ð԰ɵ¼º½ (formerly Red Deer College).   

If you are a current student or alum, follow these steps to order your official Ð԰ɵ¼º½ transcript. 

Step 1: Complete a Request for Official Documents – MyCredsâ„¢ 

Step 2: Once your request is processed, you will receive an email notification from MyCredsâ„¢ to the email address you provided in your Form submission, providing you with a link to create or sign in to your MyCredsâ„¢ account. 

Step 3: Create or sign in to your MyCredsâ„¢ account   

  • Follow the steps on the link provided in the email you will receive from MyCredsâ„¢ (see Step 2 above).

Ordering Parchments

A parchment is an official document indicating that you have completed your program at Ð԰ɵ¼º½.   

Please note that you will receive your digital parchment through MyCredsâ„¢. 

IMPORTANT: Once you complete your program a paper copy of your Parchment will be either mailed to you or you will receive it at Convocation. If you are finishing your program in the Fall, Spring or Summer terms, your Parchment will be mailed to you. If you are finishing your program in the Winter term: if you register to attend Convocation, you will receive your Parchment at Convocation and if you do not register, your Parchment will be mailed to you after Convocation.

If you are a graduate, follow these steps to order your digital parchment. 

Step 1: Complete a Request for Official Documents – MyCredsâ„¢ 

  • Once your request is processed, you will receive an email notification to the email address you provided in your Form submission from MyCredsâ„¢, providing you with a link to create or sign in to your MyCredsâ„¢ account.   

Step 2: You will receive an email from MyCredsâ„¢ 

Step 3: Create or sign in to your MyCredsâ„¢ account   

  • Follow the steps on the link provided in the email you will receive from MyCredsâ„¢ (see Step 2 above).

Ordering Letters of Completion

A letter of completion is a document that confirms several aspects of your time at Ð԰ɵ¼º½, including:  

  • The program you were enrolled in  

  • The length of study  

  • Whether your program was full-time or part-time  

  • The date you completed your program  

  • The date of graduation   

You may require a letter of completion from an external agency or an employer. Examples may include if you are an international student requiring a post-graduate work permit, or if you are a domestic student requiring confirmation of completion for your employer.   

Follow these steps to order your letter of completion.

Step 2: Look for an email from MyCredsâ„¢ 

  • Once your request is processed, you will receive an email notification to the email address you provided in your Form submission from MyCredsâ„¢, providing you with a link to create or sign in to your MyCredsâ„¢ account.   

Step 3: Create or sign in to your MyCredsâ„¢ account   

  • Follow the steps on the link provided in the email you will receive from MyCredsâ„¢ (see Step 2 above).

Are my documents secure?

Yes. Documents in your MyCredsâ„¢ digital wallet are secure and can only be viewed by you and those who you share links with. 

How do I access MyCredsâ„¢?

When a document is issued to you, you will receive a notification to the email address you provided in your Form submission. Follow the instructions provided in this email to access your document.   

What does it mean to share my documents?

When you share a document such as a transcript through MyCredsâ„¢, you are sending it to an institution, organization or recipient through a secure, digitally certified message. You may share a document when applying to a post-secondary institution or for employment purposes.

Can I opt out of the MyCredsâ„¢ process and receive my documents another way?

Yes, but it is important to note that you would only receive a paper document that needs to be picked up on campus – electronic documents will not be provided for security and authentication reasons.

Document Fees

Any fees for documents are credits for viewing or sharing the document. For example: 

Transcripts - $15 fee to view or share once (you will pay for additional shares as needed) 

Letters of Completion - $15 fee to view or share once (you will pay for additional shares as needed) 

Parchments – no charge
