Meet �԰ɵ��'s New Executive Director of Institutional Planning

�԰ɵ�� is pleased to announce Isaac Nyamekye as our institution’s new Executive Director, Institutional Planning. 

“I am pleased to welcome Mr. Nyamekye to �԰ɵ��. As a collaborative leader in institutional research, planning and analytics, Mr. Nyamekye has a proven track record of leveraging data to inform strategic enrolment management and enhance efficiencies in project management. His strong leadership in institutional planning and research will support the important work we are doing to achieve our 2030 Strategic Plan: Productivity and Social Impact.”

Mr. Nyamekye joins �԰ɵ�� from Athabasca University where he was Director of Institutional Research and Data Analytics. In that position, he fostered a culture of data-informed decision-making and data literacy across the university.  

Prior to that role, he held positions of Manager of Institutional Data Analysis at Athabasca University, along with Senior Analyst of Program Analytics and Evaluation for the Government of Alberta. Mr. Nyamekye implemented business intelligence solutions that helped to increase operational efficiencies.

Mr. Nyamekye’s diverse educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness from the University of Ghana, a Master of Science in Resource Economics from the University of Alberta and a Master of Business Administration from Athabasca University. Currently, he is pursuing a doctorate in higher education leadership at Western University.  

Mr. Nyamekye also holds several designations that include Certified Analytics Professional, IBM Certified Data Science Professional, Amazon Web Services Certified Cloud Practitioner and SAS Certified Advanced Programmer. 

Mr. Nyameyke will begin his role at �԰ɵ�� on June 17, 2024.

�԰ɵ�� Appoints New Director, Government Relations and Institutional Engagement

�԰ɵ�� (�԰ɵ��) is pleased to announce the appointment of Megan Griffith as the Director of Government Relations and Institutional Engagement. This highly strategic and collaborative position will lead �԰ɵ��’s relations with all levels of government and facilitate strategic engagement and projects involving the President’s office. “I am excited to welcome Ms. Griffith to the �԰ɵ�� Leadership Team,” comments Stuart Cullum, President. “With her extensive experience in government, healthcare and post-secondary, Ms. Griffith will bring a valued strategic focus to this very important role. �԰ɵ�� (�԰ɵ��) is pleased to welcome Cristal Glass-Painchaud to the role of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and Executive Director of People & Culture. An experienced and thoughtful human resources leader, Ms. Glass-Painchaud brings over 25 years of experience as an educator, post-secondary leader, and human resources (HR) professional. “We are very pleased to have Ms. Glass-Painchaud join the �԰ɵ�� team.
